- There are 20 holes in each standard, varying in size from 0.397 cm to 1.905 cm.
- Each hole contains a 0.076 cm x 0.076 cm EDM corner notch at the top and bottom of the top layer. Each hole also includes a 0.508 cm deep x 0.127 cm ±0.05 cm wide EDM through-notch in the bottom layer.
- There are notches of various lengths and depths on the surface and along the radius of the standard.
